A Message From USTA Northern
President Liz Hamburg
USTA Northern | December 6, 2017

Recently, the USTA Northern Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Mike Goldammer, the Section's Executive Director the past 14 years. We appreciate the contributions Mike made on behalf of tennis and the USTA, both within our Section and nationally, and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
We have started our search for a new Executive Director. Former USTA Northern President and current USTA National Nominating Committee member Roshan Rajkumar is leading the search committee which is comprised of current and past USTA Northern Board members and former staff members. We should have the job posted very soon and encourage anyone who is interested in the position to please apply.
In the meantime, I want to take a moment to recognize and praise the USTA Northern staff during this transition.

They are rock stars and will continue to do the impactful work of USTA Northern in promoting and developing the growth of tennis in our Section. Assistant Executive Director/Director of Junior Competition Pat Colbert is working with the Executive Committee, the staff and me in managing the duties of the Executive Director, in addition to his own responsibilities.
This is a very exciting time for USTA Northern. With change comes opportunity. As 2017 comes to a close and we begin a new year, we are looking forward to new leadership, new opportunities and a new direction for the Section as we all continue to grow the game we love.
Sincerely,
Liz Hamburg
USTA Northern President
