Raise The Net Fundraiser Raises over $83,000 

Over 300 people came to the Rochester International Events Center on Sunday, April 29, to see Grand Slam finalist Eric Butorac, former Gopher football player Darrell Thompson, current Vikings player Marcus Sherrels, Olympic Gold Medalist David Plummer and Gustavus women's basketball coach Laurie Trow Kelly at the Raise the Net Rally benefitting the Kutzky Park tennis courts in Rochester.

In addition to the guest speakers, there were silent and live auction items including the opportunity to sit in the President's Box , a behind-the-scenes tour and the chance to eat in the players dining area at the 2018 US Open that sold for over $12,000. Other live auction items included two packages to go behind the scenes at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, a pizza party, a tennis match against Sherrels and more.
