USTA Northern Marathon Partnership

USTA Northern is partnering with the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon again this year. Here's how it works:

For Givers:

Find the tennis charities that will be represented in the 2021 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and donate to them.

For Prospective Runners:

As a charity partner, USTA Northern receives up to two slots for the marathon and up to five spots for the 10-mile. The 10-mile fills up fast and has a lottery so as a charity partner, USTA Northern bypasses the lottery for a guaranteed spot.

It also creates an opportunity to have runners fundraise for USTA Northern or for their chosen Tennis Charities/nonprofits. 

Runners can fundraise for a non-profit tennis organization of their choice or it can go directly to USTA Northern. The section requires a minimum fundraising amount of $500 and USTA Northern will offer the following match:

Marathon - $100 per mile match - max ($2,600)
10-mile - $100 per mile match- max ($1,000)
5K & 10K – fundraise $500 to receive an Ace drawing ticket for a chance to receive an
additional $1,000 towards your tennis charity

Both the marathon and the 10-mile can be run virtually so this is a good opportunity no matter your location!
