USTA Northern Youth Progression At Home
New to Youth Progression?
The USTA Northern Youth Progression system is designed so young players, up to 10 years old, are competing at appropriate levels of play as they progress through competitive stages of tennis based on age, participation, and achievement. This helps youth players develop their fundamental skills and promotes an active lifestyle as they grow. USTA Northern Youth Progression offers fun, competitive activities for kids to enjoy while collecting stars and advancing forward! Players must accumulate at least 20 stars and/or trophies to advance from level to level. Learn more about Youth Progression.

Earn Stars at Home (Program concluded on May 31, 2020)
You can still earn credit in Youth Progression from your home! You can play tennis in the driveway, backyard, or on any flat, safe surface. Until May 31st, 2020, juniors will be able to receive stars towards their progression by sending in videos of themselves completing activities at home. One star will be given for every two activities submitted with a limit of eight entries per person.
Follow the steps below to start collecting your stars!
1. Get your racquet in ready position and camera ready for action!
3. Select Tennis Activity Videos under the "Play" tab.
4. Pick a video to ace!
5. Film yourself completing the tennis activity.
6. Submit your video and provide your USTA number.
7. Once you have submitted your videos, watch your stars shine!
