John Isner: Going for Six Atlanta Titles

John Isner is a five-time Truist Atlanta Open champion with a career high No. 8 singles ranking. He won the Masters 1000 crown at the 2018 Miami Open, reached the semifinals appearance at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships, along with reaching the quarterfinals at the US Open in 2011 and 2018. Known as one of the best servers ever to play on the ATP Tour, he currently has the second-most aces in the history of the ATP Tour, having served over 12,000 aces.

 

Isner talked with media and discussed his love of playing in Atlanta, how he hopes to be seeded for Wimbledon and his strategy to moving from clay to grass to hard courts. Isner was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and went to the University of Georgia.
