2022 Junior Closed Winners & Finalists

The 2022 USTA Southern Closed Championships, Level 3, were played in four locations beginning on June 6. Here are the cities: 12s, Cary, N.C.; 14s, Macon, Ga.; 16s, Little Rock, Ark. and 18s, Mobile, Ala.

 

Maeve Thornton, of Knoxville, Tenn., was the only singles and doubles winner. She competed in Girls' 18s. The players who won in singles and were doubles finalists were Boys' 12s, Griffin Goode, Raleigh, N.C. and Boys' 16s, Woodson McMillin, Knoxville. The following were a finalist in singles and champion in doubles: Boys' 12s, Zachary Smymanski, Locust Grove, Ga. and Boys' 18s, Roberto Ferrer Guimaraes; Lakeland, Tenn. Marietta, Ga.'s Sarah Elizabeth Branicki was a finalist in both Girls' 18s competitions.
