NJTL Essay Contest Won by Two Southerners

USTA Foundation has announced its 2021 NJTL Essay Contest Winners. USTA Southern had two of the 10 national winners: Caleb Kim of the Tuscaloosa (AL) Tennis Association and Molly Schleck of the Rising Stars of Kentucky Tennis, located in Louisville, KY.  They were recognized on October 21 via a USTA Foundation virtual ceremony.

 

The state essay contest winners have been selected from over 150 entries and16 chapters from eight states across USTA Southern.  The question for the 2021 Essay revolved around Tennis History Maker, Robert Ryland: "What facts about his story inspire you to break boundaries and excel in school, sports, and to follow your dreams? What are your possibilities?
