Barnes Tennis Center among RSI's Champions of Tennis in 2022

Two Southern California organizations were honored for their efforts in the game as part of Racquet Sports Industry magazine’s 22nd annual “Champions of Tennis Awards,” which honor people, businesses and organizations dedicated to improving the sport and business of tennis.

Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego was recognized as Municipal Tennis Facility of the Year, while the City of Los Angeles was celebrated as the Park & Recreation Agency of the Year. Both are great partners of USTA Southern California, and both are essential organizations for growing the game across the region.

USTA Chairman and President Mike McNulty was also honored as the magazine’s 2022 Person of the Year.

In addition to its Person of the Year award, Racquet Sports Industry named winners in 26 other categories for its 2022 Champions of Tennis Awards.
