Apply for the USTA Southwest Regional Advisory Council

USTA Southwest is currently fielding applications for interested members to become Regional Advisory Council members through November 17, 2021.

The USTA Southwest Regional Advisory Council supports the Section's efforts by giving a more localized voice to our governance and efforts in our communities. 

There are Regional Advisory Councils for each of our major Southwest areas -
Greater Phoenix
Southern Arizona
Northern Arizona
Northern New Mexico
Southern New Mexico
Greater El Paso

Each Regional Council shall consist of a Chairperson, a Vice Chairperson and no fewer than 3 and no more than 5 members.  

All members of the Regional Advisory Council must be residents in their respective regions and apply through an appointment process. Members shall be appointed by the USTA Southwest CEO in consultation with the USTA Southwest volunteer president and ratified by the USTA Southwest Board of Directors. 

Members of these Regional Advisory Councils are key volunteers in the development of local regional goals, program delivery, event running and other special projects. Their relationships are key bridges between the local and the section level of the organization.
