FLAGSTAFF PARKS & REC MEETING FOR POTENTIAL NEW PUBLIC FACILITY WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

September 07, 2017

Dear Northern Arizona Tennis Community,

Flagstaff Parks & Recreation (FP&R) is considering expanding their unfunded capital improvement list to consider a larger, city-run tennis facility (think 12 courts in one location!).

City funds may soon become available to make this a reality. For this to occur the city needs to know it has our tennis community’s backing and interest in the process!

We’ve asked USTA Southwest to present the benefits of such a facility to Flagstaff Parks and Recreation on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th at 4 PM @ the AQUAPLEX.

We need the tennis community to attend as a show of support for this potential project.

You won’t need to publicly comment, but your presence is highly encouraged. Pickleball had over a 100 people show up and it left a major impression on the board. We want to do the same!

WHO: Northern Arizona Tennis Community

WHAT: Support For A New Public Tennis Site

WHEN: Wednesday September 20, 4 PM

WHERE: The Aquaplex - 1702 N 4th St, Flagstaff, AZ 86004

Sincerely,

Adam Kaupisch - USTA Northern Arizona president
