2018 TEXAS TENNIS ON CAMPUS CHAMPIONS CROWNED
Texas A&M won the USTA Texas Tennis on Campus Championship for the second straight year, earning its eighth title in 11 years on Saturday, February 17.
Five schools will be heading to the USTA National Campus in Orlando for the National Championships on April 12-14. The University of Texas at Austin finished in second place and Rice University finished third, while Tarrant County Community College will go as Team of the Year and Texas Christian University will attend as a wild card.
Repeating on its 2017 performance, Texas A&M's Do It Big won the Gold Draw and the school's Tree Harder won the Silver Draw. Two University of Texas teams rounded out the medaling teams in the Gold Draw, as UT Double Shots were finalists and UT Scrub took third place.
Texas State boasted the Leader of the Year for the second straight Championship, with Autumn Keefer taking home the award.
