Coach Jamel Madison: Transforming Tennis in DFW
Coach Jamel Madison, a seasoned tennis professional with over a decade of experience in customer relations and sports coaching, is on a mission to make tennis accessible to everyone. Having played and coached for 20 years, Madison additional certifications as an Eagle Scout and in CPR/First Aid.
In addition to his tennis expertise, Madison has volunteered as a coach for youth basketball, soccer, and flag football teams while maintaining a full-time role as a senior accounting analyst for a Fortune 500 company. In 2023, he took a bold step by fully committing to his passion for coaching, becoming a Tennis Professional at a country club in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area.
Shortly after, Madison founded Madison Ace, a business dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive environment for clients to embrace tennis at their own pace. He travels across DFW, offering affordable private lessons and classes for all skill levels, and organizes tennis-related events such as birthday parties, anniversaries, and team-building experiences. Madison Ace ensures that everyone who steps onto the court feels prepared by providing all necessary equipment and removing barriers to entry.
Madison is also passionate about partnering with local tennis centers in DFW to expand tennis opportunities in their communities. His ultimate goal is to break down barriers and challenge stigmas surrounding the sport, making it accessible to people from all walks of life.
For Madison, this is more than just a business—it’s a ministry. Guided by his faith, he emphasizes the principles of God, self, family, community, and tennis in his work and life.
