Foundation Awards 2025 Scholarships

June 03, 2025

The USTA Texas Tennis Foundation is proud to celebrate a new class of student-athletes whose drive, discipline, and character have earned them a place among our 2025 scholarship recipients. This year, 16 high school seniors from across Texas were selected for their excellence in both academics and athletics—each one a shining example of what it means to lead with purpose on and off the court.

Among this year’s recipients are five students selected for our most prestigious named scholarship, the Ron Woods Scholarship, which honors the legacy of a remarkable individual who has helped grow and shape the tennis community in Texas. These scholarships are more than awards—they are investments in the future of students who show not only potential, but passion and perseverance.

"This class of recipients represents the heart of our mission which is 'to change lives and build communities through tennis and educational opportunities'," said Lara Lehmann, USTA Texas President. "They’ve worked hard, lifted others, and stayed committed to their dreams. We’re proud to stand beside them as they take the next step in their journey, and we are excited to see all of the good they will undoubtedly do in the future."
