Springfield Local League Coordinator/Assistant District League Coordinator- USTA Missouri
USTA Missouri is looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual in the Springfield and surrounding area to serve as USTA Missouri’s Springfield Local Coordinator and Assistant District League Coordinator. This individual would primarily work with the area players to create and form USTA League teams, as well as assist the District League Coordinator in any tasks. This is a stipend-based position that includes commission-based incentives.
Job Summary:
The Local League Coordinator is a part-time position, responsible for organizing, managing, and promoting USTA adult tennis league in the Springfield area.
Responsibilities:
- Planning local league schedules, managing registration, player rosters, and match results using TennisLink, Serve Tennis, and other USTA programs.
- Recruiting captains, players, and teams, providing support and training to captains, and resolving player and captain inquiries or disputes.
- Promoting league offerings through local marketing and community outreach.

Junior Team Tennis Coordinator- USTA Missouri
USTA Junior Team Tennis brings kids together in teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams. It promotes social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity as well as individual self-growth.
Job Summary:
The Junior Team Tennis Coordinator is a mostly seasonal/part-time position, responsible for organizing, managing, and promoting USTA Junior Team Tennis in USTA Missouri.
Responsibilities:
- Promote/advertise USTA Junior Team Tennis in the specified local area in cooperative efforts with USTA district staff, section staff and local coordinators.
Work with the Section Junior Team Play staff and district staff and board to establish the characteristics of the league parameters including dates, seasons, age, divisions and program fees.
Solicit captains/managers for teams and volunteers
Create a schedule of play for local leagues and publish it through TennisLink

USTA Missouri Valley Adult Team Play Manager - Full-Time
Support USTA Missouri Valley's mission by promoting and driving the growth of adult team play, including but not limited to USTA Leagues.
Collaborate with District and local league coordinators, as well as section field staff, to implement and expand Adult League opportunities across USTA Missouri Valley. Partner with the Manager of Adult Play to advance initiatives supporting the broader Adult Pathway, including Cardio Tennis, Red Ball, Social Play, Tournaments, and Tennis on Campus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with District and local league coordinators and field staff to evaluate market opportunities and deliver awareness, education, materials, and support to expand adult league participation.
- Promote and champion key Adult Tennis initiatives, including Tennis on Campus, Cardio Tennis, Red Ball, Social Play, and Tournaments.
- Recruit, train, and retain volunteers and providers managing adult league operations.
- Deliver ongoing training and guidance to District and local league coordinators.
- Provide instructional resources and participate in District League Captain meetings.
- Direct and support operations for League Section Championships and Invitational sites.
- Represent USTA Missouri Valley by organizing, leading, or participating in workshops, events, and meetings to strengthen local program delivery.
- Manage allocated program budgets responsibly and within established parameters.
- Foster collaborative, positive working relationships with District, Section, and National staff and volunteers.
- Prepare and submit timely reports, including event/meeting summaries, committee updates, and administrative reports as requested by leadership.
- Participate in USTA Missouri Valley Semi-Annual and Annual Meetings, staff calls, national conferences, and District meetings as assigned.
- Maintain resources, promote consistency across the section for adult team play.
- Data analytics and trends across the section regarding team play
