USTA Missouri Valley Strategic Priorities
The goal of USTA Missouri Valley is to promote and grow the game of tennis in a way that is inclusive, accessible and maximizes our resources so that we achieve a significant annual increase in USTA Missouri Valley program participation.
We aim to achieve this goal through multiple key initiatives: Play Opportunities, Competition, Team Play, Coach Development, Facility Advocacy and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
On a larger scale, USTA Missouri Valley and the USTA share the same goals for tennis on a national scale. Chief among these goals is to become the top tennis playing country in the world, meaning we want to see 35 million players by 2035. We also want to make tennis look like America. What does this mean exactly? We want to see a diverse playing population that mirrors the demographics across the country. Lastly, we want to see tennis become the moral and ethical voice of all sports.
How are we going to make all of this happen? By following our core values to ensure we offer opportunities to all!

Wellness
We believe in the life-changing benefits of tennis. Tennis is a sport for a lifetime, and we use data to amplify its impact on health and wellbeing, while prioritizing the physical, mental and emotional health and safety of our community, on and off the court.
