The NTRP Nationals Championships are national adult tournaments that leverage the NTRP rating system as a way to create level-based competition at the 18 & over and 50 & over age groups. Each year, NTRP National Champions are crowned in men’s and women’s singles and doubles at the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 levels in both 18 & over and 50 & over age groups, as well as at the 5.0 level in the 18 & over division. Players MUST complete an application to be considered and meet all other eligibility requirements. Players will be endorsed by the section in the order of the 2019 Final Ranking List (published in January 2020).
If the top qualified players cannot attend the NTRP National Championships, the next highest-ranked player will be offered the spot until it is filled, provided the player meets all eligibility qualifications.
Players may only compete in ONE age division and ONE level.
If an endorsed player withdraws from the competition, USTA Eastern asks that it is done before the entry deadline and that the player informs the USTA Eastern office of their decision immediately.
