USTA League 18-39



The 18-39 League is an excellent opportunity for players to play competitively in a fun atmosphere. Meet new players and new friends!

 

Teams are co-ed, and the recommended roster size is 8-10 players - please note that we strictly enforce the age limits of this league. Divisions include: 2.5-3.0, 3.5-4.0, and 4.5-5.0. The format includes one set of men’s and women’s singles, one set of men’s and women’s doubles, and two sets of mixed doubles. An individual match consists of an 8-game pro set with no-ad scoring: Using two courts, the recommended order of play will be: 

 

• Women’s and Men’s Doubles

• Women’s and Men’s Singles

• Two Mixed Doubles

 

This league used to be in winter, but it has been changed to start on November 4, 2024. We will also offer the 18-39 league in the MetroWest area beginning on January 13 through April 6.

Dates: November 4, 2023 tp January 31, 2024

Times: Saturday nights from 6 to 8:30pm  

Location: Winchester Tennis Club

NTRP Ratings/Levels: Division 1 – 2.5 to 3.0, Division 2 – 3.5 to 4.0, Division 3 – 4.5 to 5.0

*Note: Depending on the number of 2.5 and 5.0 players, the league may be reduced to two levels. 

 

Cost:

  • $23 for USTA League fee
  • $90 team fee per week for court fees, only paid for weeks that you play a match

 

Rating

This league does require a USTA NTRP rating. If you do not already have a rating, you can complete the self-rate process through TennisLink with your USTA account.

1. Join USTA

  1. Create an account - If you don't have a USTA account, you must create one (If you already have a USTA account, skip to number 2.).  Click on TennisLink to create your account, password, and follow the prompts. 

 

2. Login  

  1. After you have created an account, click on 'Login to your USTA Account' on the USTA League homepage. Log in using your email address and password.

 

3. Self Rate (if needed)

  1.  Once you have your membership and are logged into TennisLink, select 'Self Rate' in the third column of the USTA League drop-down menu.
  2. Complete the self-rate process. To help you determine your rating, click on this Guide to NTRP Rating Levels
