Tennis On Campus | Southern
USTA Southern's Tennis On Campus program supports more than 30 colleges and universities with about 60 teams. Club teams are run on campus by student organization.
Many schools have multiple teams and have had more than 100 students try out to play
Each spring USTA Southen hosts the USTA Southern Tennis Championship, usually in late Feburary. In addition to crowning a champion, the event also earmarks teams to play in the USTA TOC Championships.
2024-26
The 2024, 2025 and 2026 USTA Southern Tennis On Campus Championships will be played at the Mobile (Ala.) Tennis Center. The 2024 dates are Feb. 23-25. In 2025, the championships will be played Feb. 21-23. The 2026 dates are TBD.

Georgia A wins the 2024 Tennis On Campus Southern Championship
The Georgia A team won its third Tennis On Campus Southern Championship, defeating in-state rival Georgia Tech A.
Georgia’s big-serving co-captain Matthew Sloan bombed aces in the mixed doubles set. Georgia broke a 5-5 tie in mixed, extending their unsurmountable lead for a 23-20 victory. The Bulldogs were crowned Alley champions.
Winning in convincing fashion for UGA was Ethan Berry and Avsal Farouq 6-1 in men’s doubles and Sivan Cohen who sailed to a 6-2 victory in women’s singles.
Georgia Tech, the defending champion, started strong when Laterine Ng and Divya Tullari won the women’s doubles 6-1.
In the Rally bracket, 2023 champion Emory defended its title by defeating University of Georgia’s C team 27-16.

2023 championship matches were played Feb. 23-25 at the Mobile (Ala.) Tennis Center. The 60-court facility will also host the 2025-26 tournament. Based on the number of courts, it is one of the largest tennis facilities in the country.
Schools in USTA Southern receive seven bids to the 2024 USTA Tennis On Campus National Championship. The Southern schools receiving bids are:
Georgia, champion
Georgia Tech, finalist
South Carolina, third
Tennessee, fourth
Duke, fifth
Emory, which repeated as Rally champion
NC State, 2023 USTA Southern Club of the Year
The 57-court facility in Rome, Ga. hosted the event for the second year. Based on the number of courts, it is one of the largest tennis facilities in the country.
