USTA Northern Junior Tournaments

USTA Northern offers a year-round schedule of junior tournaments and events. Play opportunities are either by skill level or age division and spread geographically throughout the Section. Junior tournaments offer competitive social atmospheres, opportunities to meet new players, and valuable match-play experience, which is crucial for player development.

Boys and girls 12's, 14's, 16's & 18's age divisions offer ranking points which are valuable in providing additional access to higher level events. Players ages 7-10 are able to play in PlayTracker Programs, which are designed for orange and green ball competition.

*NEW Tournament Regulation: No-Ad Scoring

USTA Northern’s standard scoring format is no-ad scoring. Tournament directors have the discretion to use ad-scoring if they have the court availability to do so without violating Friend At Court and/or USTA Northern start time policies.

Fair play and sportsmanship is something that impacts the tennis experience on and off the court. USTA Northern is committed to fair play and sportsmanship in our tournaments.

All Northern Section tournament players are asked to sign the Pledge annually (once per calendar year). By doing so, you are helping us create awareness and facilitate a positive culture for all tennis players in the Northern Section.

USTA Northern Junior Team Tennis helps girls and boys ages 11 to 18 get in the game. Players 10 & under are welcome to play JTT and should be green or yellow ball eligible in accordance with USTA's Play Tracker system.*
