Fun and Effort at the Australian Safari
The Australian Safari, first stop of the Red Ball Challenge - Grand Slam Tour, was held on January 26 at the Crissy Gonzalez Park in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. 33 tennis players participated of this event having fun exercising, playing games and a lot of tennis.
This event, aimed at 8U tennis players, is part of four events, all themed by the Grand Slams tournaments of the professional circuit. They come to provide fun and varied experiences to kids while they start playing tennis.
In addition to the athletic part, it is also sought to develop the mental aspect. With that in mind, the word "Effort" was highlighted as a quality to develop in tennis and life.
All participants of the Grand Slam Tour received a commemorative shirt, along with a collection medal.
The next Grand Slam Tour event is the French Open and will take place on May 4 at the red clay courts of the Monticello Training Center in Cidra, Puerto Rico.
