Development for Juniors in San Juan
150 youth tennis players, enrolled in the progession from orange ball to regular ball, gathered in the courts of the Rio Piedras Tennis Club (Baldrich) to test their skills in the last Development Tournament of 2019.
This event, which gives competition opportunities for players 10, 12, 14 and 18 & under, was held from December 13 to 15 under the direction of ITF Level 3 coach Oderaiza Soto. It is organized by the Puerto Rico Tennis Association to provide experience and in-court preparation for these young players who wish to improve their technique.

10 & Under - FABIANA MORALES d. Kamila Sierra 4-2; 4-0
12 & Under - AMANDA DIAZ d. Adriana Figueroa Pérez 4-3; 4-2
14 & Under - ANABELLA DEL VALLE d. Victoria Cajigas 4-1; 4-0
18 & Under - ALEXANDRA RIGAU d. Mardi Roques 4-2; 4-2
The first Development Tournament of 2020 will take place from February 7 to 9 at the facilities of the Riviera Tennis Center in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. For more information call 787-726-8782, ext. 227.
