The Advantage Goes to Berkeley and Greenway Parks

July 21, 2023

And the winners are...

Tennis Champions throughout Denver embraced their passion for tennis and new advocacy role, by participating in the Home Court Advantage, a small capital improvement initiative sponsored by the joint partnership between USTA Colorado and Denver Parks and Recreation.

Home Court Advantage nominations came in from 24 of the 33 different Denver public park tennis court locations. The inaugural Home Court Advantage winners from Berkeley Park and Greenway Park will receive new scoreboards on each of their courts thanks to the input provided by their Tennis Champions. The scoreboards are sturdy and self-contained to make it easier for players and spectators alike to keep score.

The Advantage Continues...Announcing Home Court Advantage Round 2

Due to the overwhelming response of the Denver community to the Tennis Champions campaign, the Home Court Advantage sponsors invite you to provide input on your favorite Denver public park courts through the remainder of the summer. By bringing together more partners to support the momentum that’s building, additional funds are in place for a second round of Home Court Advantage capital improvements.

Now is your chance to spread the word and encourage your tennis colleagues to become registered Tennis Champions and vote for their favorite Denver public park courts to win Home Court Advantage Round 2. The deadline for court nominations is August 31, 2023.
