Midwest

2022 Year in Review Highlights

OUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM 2022

2022 was jam-packed with tennis as more courts opened and people started swinging! The Midwest used the past year to focus on growing our sport, our relationships and our events; and we had a lot of fun doing so! Play Tennis Midwest alone attracted more than 1,900 new players to the game.

These events and others like it would not be possible without our incredible volunteers, those dedicated and supportive individuals who stand by our belief that "all ages are welcome, and all aces are welcome."

We hope you enjoy this special look back at some of our favorite 2022 memories. From our trip to the Western & Southern Open to the start of our brand new beginner program, Tennis 101. Rajeev Ram won the Men's Doubles title at the US Open and wheelchair tennis made its grand debut at the Boys’ 18s National Championships in Kalamazoo, Michigan! And wrapping it all up — the retirement of our Section's CEO Mark Saunders.
