PLAYER NEWS

BATTLE OF THE SECTIONS

We have the results from several summer competitions! Starting with the Boys' and Girls' Battle of the Sections — both Midwest teams came in third place. The boys' competition was at the University of Notre Dame. Teammates Avner Wong, Andrew Spurck, Colson Wells, Mitchell Sheldon, Nolan Balthazor, Benedict Graft, Kyle McNally and Simon Caldwell are pictured above with their coach, Jason Winegar. The girls had a bit farther to travel... They played at the Claremont Club in California! Anna Bennett, Karlin Schock, Tess Bucher, Sari Woo, Madison Liu, Kaede Usui, Nicole Fu and Parker Christensen were led by coach Marcy Hendricks. Congratulations to both teams! You did a fantastic job representing the Midwest Section.

BATTLE OF THE MISSISSIPPI

At another intersectional event, the Battle of the Mississippi (BOTM), #TeamMidwest took home first place! That's right, for three years in a row our players have traveled throughout the Midwest, Missouri Valley and Northern Sections to contribute towards a Midwest win. Not only did our juniors return home as champions, but they secured the traveling trophy again! Great job to everyone who competed.

NATIONAL CLAY COURT CHAMPIONSHIPS

The good news continues! Three of our players received awards at the prestigious National Clay Court Championships. We're so proud of them and all of our players who were invited to play.
