About the moderator & speakers
Jamie Dieveney, Tennis Director/General Manager, Indianapolis Racquet Club
Jamie joined the Indianapolis Racquet Club (IRC) tennis staff in 2018 and brings more than 30 years of coaching experience to the role. He is currently the Director of Tennis at IRC, where he leads programming for players of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.
Prior to IRC, Jamie served as the founding Tennis Director at the Tennis Center at Sand Point in Seattle, Wash. (2012–2017) and has held leadership roles throughout his career. He is a RSPA (formerly USPTA) Elite Professional (Level 1) and CrossFit certified, with more than 38 years of playing experience. His coaching philosophy centers on inspiring, educating and celebrating players while helping them reach their full potential.
Jamie has been widely recognized for excellence in coaching, earning RSPA Coach of the Year honors (2011–2012), multiple Washington State Coach of the Year and Sportsmanship Awards and leading teams to three state titles. He also competed at the national level as a two-time USTA 10.0 Mixed Doubles National player. A former standout at Pacific Lutheran University, Jamie completed two undefeated collegiate seasons and won NAIA District Championships in both singles and doubles.
Outside of tennis, Jamie is an accomplished vocalist, composer and producer. He toured nationally for 25 years with the vocal group The Coats and currently serves as the lead singer for the Steely Dan tribute band Nearly Dan.
Timon Corwin, General Manager/COO, Western Athletic Club
Timon has dedicated his professional career to sports administration, with a strong focus on tennis and organizational leadership. He is currently the General Manager at Western Racquet Club, where he oversees club operations, member experience and strategic growth.
Prior to joining Western Racquet Club, Timon spent 15 years in higher education at Kalamazoo College before transitioning to the United States Tennis Association (USTA), where he held a national leadership role in junior and collegiate competition, contributing to the sport’s development at both the grassroots and collegiate levels.
Timon joined Western Racquet Club as Tennis Director in 2010, served as Interim General Manager in 2011 and was appointed General Manager in 2012, a role he continues to hold today.
Mike Haber, Racquet Sports Manager, Midtown Athletic Club Bannockburn
Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the tennis industry as a player, teaching professional and collegiate coach. He is currently the Racquet Sports Manager at Midtown Athletic Club in Bannockburn, Ill.
He has coached players of all ages and levels, from young beginners to nationally ranked juniors and competitive adults. He has held Tennis Director roles at clubs in Colorado, Wisconsin and Illinois. His coaching career includes leading athletes who earned collegiate tennis scholarships and serving as a men’s and women’s collegiate coach at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Ferris State University and the University of Colorado Boulder.
A Ferris State University graduate with a degree in Professional Tennis Management, Mike is a certified RSPA, PTR and PPR professional and a USTA High Performance Coach. He is a past president of USTA Chicago and currently serves on its Board of Directors.
Katie Orlando, Director of Tennis, Towpath Tennis Center
Katie played collegiate tennis at the University of Akron, where she earned All-Mid-American Conference honors in 1993. She joined Towpath Tennis Center as an Associate Professional and became a certified RSPA (formerly USPTA) Professional that same year. She was named Head Professional in 1996 and promoted to Tennis Director in August 2005, a role she continues to hold.
Katie is also certified by USTA Coaching and has been widely recognized for her leadership and service to the sport. Her honors include the Herb Nold Volunteer of the Year Award (1998), the Nancy Mickler Memorial Award (2005 and 2006) and the Ohio State Professional of the Year Award (2007). In 2011, she was inducted into the University of Akron Sports Hall of Fame.
More recently, Katie was named the 2019 RSPA (USPTA) Midwest Professional of the Year and inducted into the 2022 Hall of Fame. She has served on the RSPA Midwest Board of Directors since 2018 and is a member of the USTA Coaching Serve and Lead Team.
Matt Wright, Director of Development, Five Star Tennis Center
Matt is a PTR Master Professional and tennis educator with more than two decades of experience building junior pathways, developing coaches and leading structured parent education initiatives that support long-term athlete development.
