For many of our Wisconsin high school seniors, their final season was cut short. As our way of celebrating all of these wonderful players, we have gathered stories from across Wisconsin to celebrate our amazing class of 2020! Congratulations on a great high school tennis career, we can't wait to see what's in store next.
Jordan Lauer, Badger High School
What will you miss most about high school tennis?
The energy our team brought to each match
What are your plans for playing tennis after high school?
I am playing on the team at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
What one item do you have to have in your tennis bag no matter what?
Foam roller
What is one song that will always make you think of your high school tennis team?
Rocky theme song - we played it on the bus before every match.
What are you most proud of in your high school tennis career?
Winning Team Sectionals my sophomore year
Who is your favorite tennis player and why?
Dominic Thiem, he never takes it easy and is always grinding at 110% even in pre-match practices.
Do you have any superstitions on the tennis court?
In warmups, I always take volleys first, but I let my opponent take serves first. Also, I have to sit on the same side of the court as the score card.
Jada Young, Rufus King High School

Graduation 2020 to Jada Young, avid tennis player & talented musician. So much potential; 4.0 GPA from Rufus King High School. Heading to Madison-#FutureBadger. Based on past history, expect to see great things from this young lady. I am so proud of you Jada!
Pablo Dale, Brookfield Academy
Pablo has been competing in Midwest tournaments since the age of nine, has just graduated from high school, and is now looking forward to playing Division 1 tennis at Marquette University in the fall of 2020. He plans to study pre-med and major in exercise physiology. Pablo was named National High School All-American for 2020, a recognition only given to 35 players.
