Congratulations to Team Wanless for Advancing to the USTA League National Championships!
As we roll into fall, we’re watching the summer USTA Leagues wrap-up in real time. While bittersweet, there’s still lots of tennis left to be played for some teams–this time at the USTA League National Championships!
So, which team from USTA Kansas will be advancing to the National Championships? Read on to find out!
The USTA Missouri Valley 18 & Over 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 55 & Over 7.0 and 9.0 League Section Championships were held August 5-7 at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, and to say the competition was intense is an understatement. While temperatures soared, the level of play was even hotter as teams from all over USTA Missouri Valley took to the courts to battle it out for a spot at the National Championships for their respective league.
USTA Kansas is proud to announce that Team Wanless, a 7.0 55 & Over Men’s League, took the top spot in their draw and will be heading to the USTA League National Championships at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, FL! Congratulations!
We can’t wait to cheer on Team Wanless and its incredible players October 14-16. They’re wonderful competitors, and we know they’ll represent USTA Kansas well!
