Introducing Local League Coordinator Allison Koehn
USTA Kansas is excited to introduce our newest team member, Allison Koehn, who will be serving as our Local League Coordinator!
Koehn lives in Topeka, Kansas, and is an attorney, specializing in tax and estate planning. Striving to become more involved in her community, Allison recently accepted an appointment by the Governor to serve as a public member on the Board of Accountancy and works with various other local non-profit organizations within the Topeka community.
The daughter of a high school basketball and baseball coach, Koehn grew playing sports such as volleyball, basketball and softball. She eventually earned a scholarship to play softball at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, which was cut short from a season-ending knee injury in 2007.
Koehn picked up tennis two years ago as a way to get more exercise and has quickly adapted to the challenges of learning a new sport. She joined the USTA in May 2018 after being encouraged to participate in a USTA adult tennis league from a tennis pro at her local gym. She hopes to use her skills and experience in this new role to hep grow local tennis.
