National Tennis Month: What’s happening in our district

May is National Tennis Month and as you can imagine, we are excited to share with you some of the events taking place here in USTA Kansas. Whether you’re a junior or adult tennis player, there is something happening for everyone! Here are just a few of the happenings for National Tennis Month:

 

  • May 18: Level 7 USTA Kansas Crestview Country Club Intermediate II Junior Tournament / Crestview Country Club in Wichita
  • May 24-26: Level 5 Open USTA Missouri Valley BG 12-18 #2 Junior Tournament / Ralph Wulz Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita
  • May 24-26: Level 5 Open USTA Missouri Valley BG 16-18 Junior Tournament / Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka
  • May 31: Special Olympics Kansas State Games; Maize High School near Wichita

 

The Special Olympics Kansas State Games return to the Wichita area, and how wonderful it is to take place during National Tennis Month! This year’s event will feature a skills competition in addition to singles and doubles events. Make sure to stop by if you’re in the area to cheer on the athletes as they vie for medals.
