Sydney Hamilton | November 04, 2022

Last month, two teams from USTA Kansas made their way to USTA League Nationals! Team Wanless, a Men’s 55 & Over 7.0 team, and Team Jones, a Mixed 18 & Over 8.0 team, earned the top spot at their respective USTA League Section Championships in July, punching their tickets to compete against the nation’s top league players.

We know you’re eager to find out how these two teams fared at Nationals–and you’re in luck! Below are the final results:

Team Wanless, captained by Berry Wanless, hit the courts for their Nationals events at the USTA National Tennis Complex in Orlando. They had a 1-3 team record and finished in 11th place.

Team Jones, captained by Dylan Jones, headed to Surprise, AZ, for their Nationals events. They went 3-1 overall as a team en route to a sixth place finish.
