USTA Missouri Valley League Section Championships are Just Around the Corner!
As summer league season wraps up, players from USTA Kansas are looking forward to the USTA Missouri Valley League Section Championships and, hopefully, a shot at the National Championships taking place later this year.
District play recently wrapped up for the 65 & Over league with the culmination of the 65 & Over 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 Section Invitational, held July 15-17 at Overland Park Racquet Club in Overland Park, KS. We’d like to congratulate all players for a successful showing, and wish them luck at the 65 & Over National Championships in Surprise, AZ, happening early next year.
Next up is the Adult 40 & Over Men & Women 3.5 & 4.5. USTA League Section Championships, which will serve up fierce competition at beautiful Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka, KS, August 26-28. Come cheer on our USTA Kansas players as they vie for the top of the podium in their respective events! To learn more about the tournament, please click here.
Also, make sure to mark your calendars for the Mixed 18 & Over 6.0-10.0 USTA Missouri Valley League Section Championships, which will be held September 9-11 also at Kossover Tennis Center. USTA Kansas will be well-represented during this tournament, too, so you’ll want to make your way courtside to catch some incredible tennis that weekend. Kossover Tennis Center is located at 2540 SW Gage Blvd. in Topeka.
