USTA Missouri Awards Ceremony Takes Place at Cooper Complex
The 2021 USTA Missouri Awards Meeting and Ceremony occurred November 6 at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield. Attendees were treated to cookies and punch in the afternoon once the meeting and ceremony took place.
Heidi Smith, USTA Missouri executive director, headed up the annual event that honored and recognized standout individuals and an organization throughout the district.
One of the award-winners, Joseph Coder (Boys 14s), also earned selection for a Junior Sportsmanship Award from the USTA Missouri Valley. Coder will be presented this accolade at the 2021 USTA Missouri Valley Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Celebration. That will take place the afternoon of Saturday, December 4 in Olathe, Kansas.
