Henry’s Heroes capture USTA League National Championship
Congratulations to Henry’s Heroes for their incredible victory at the 2024 USTA League 55 & Over 9.0 Men’s National Championships, held in Scottsdale, Ariz., from Nov. 1-3.
Teams from across the country battled it out among 15 USTA sections. After a 4-0 performance in pool play, Henry’s Heroes beat USTA Midwest 2-1 in the semifinals before defeating USTA Middle States 2-1 to win the national championship.
Captained by Stan Swyden and James Billingsley, this outstanding team represents the very best of Oklahoma tennis. Inspired by the legacy of Steve Henry, Henry’s Heroes honors his remarkable contributions as a player, friend and mentor. His passion for tennis and commitment to the community continues to inspire players across the state.
