Oklahoma Players Win Section Awards
The USTA Missouri Valley Annual Meeting and Hall of Fame & Awards Banquet took place this past weekend in Olathe, Kansas bringing in people from all over the country. On Saturday, December 7, we celebrated all the winners from the section including several USTA Oklahoma award winners.
The USTA Missouri Valley president, Oklahoma’s very own Lisa Minihan, kicked off the banquet by welcoming everyone and introducing the emcee.
USTA Oklahoma would like to congratulate all of the section award winners, especially those recipients representing Oklahoma.
The 2019 USTA Missouri Valley Award recipients from Oklahoma were:
Vanessa Ong—Junior High Performance Player of the Year (Female)
Graydon Lair—Junior High Performance Player of the Year (Male)
Tokara Henderson—Junior Emerging Player of the Year (Female)
Skip Griese—High School Coach of the Year
The Han Family—Tennis Family of the Year
