Tennis lives here: USTA Missouri Valley celebrates community impact of parks

June 26, 2026

With 39% of U.S. players and 49% of USTA Missouri Valley players primarily getting in their tennis at public parks according to the most recent PAC study, these accessible facilities remain the top destination in the country to play the sport.

The USTA Missouri Valley spotlights the impact of parks throughout the month of July for Park and Recreation Month. In particular, the section is celebrating the many public parks upgrading or renovating their tennis courts thanks to USTA Tennis Venue Services grant funding.

You can get involved in the monthlong celebration by having your city or county proclaim July as Park and Recreation Month. Click here for a proclamation template.

And gear up for your play at parks by using the Dick's Sporting Goods coupon at the bottom of this page to take $15 off a purchase of $75+ from now until Aug. 1.
