Recap: 2025 Tennis On Campus Fall Invite
It was a wonderful weekend at the 2025 USTA Missouri Valley Tennis On Campus Fall Invite, which took place Oct. 4-5. Sixteen collegiate club tennis teams from across USTA Missouri Valley converged upon Kansas City, Missouri for the coveted title of Tennis On Campus Fall Invite champion.
This year’s tournament again was held at the beautiful Plaza Tennis Center, located in the heart of the historic Country Club Plaza. After two long days of tennis and teamwork, a champion was crowned with the University of Kansas claiming the title over last year’s champ, Washington University in St. Louis, by a 26-25 score line.
Rounding out the championship bracket was Oklahoma State University, which earned a third-place finish. The University of Oklahoma finished in fourth. Complete results are available here. To view a photo album of the action, click here.
Returning in 2025 after debuting last year was the Red Ball Tennis mixer. A total of 15 teams participated in the event on Sunday morning. Over 120 players competed on eight courts for prizes and championship rings in the form of ring pops, and a great time was definitely had by all.
A special thanks goes out to USTA Missouri Valley staff members Laura Jager, Marissa Moment Brown, Manon Eilts, Abby Lunsford, Mary Buschmann and Jacob Beck as well as Mark Jager and the Plaza Tennis Center staff for their assistance in making this tournament a smashing success.
