Youth Tennis Provider of the Month

This year, USTA Missouri Valley is shining a spotlight on impactful members of the tennis community as they recognize a Youth Tennis Provider of the Month. 

 

These award winners are passionate about local tennis, leave a positive impact on the next generation, and demonstrate a spirit of selflessness and volunteerism across all levels of play. 

 

In February, Sara Rasmussen, director of Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita, Kansas, was given this award. 

 

In March, we awarded Brody Queal, Director of 10 & Under tennis and full-time academy staff professional at Racquet & Health 91 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

 

In April, Nicole Berger, Director of 10 & Under Tennis and Assistant Tennis Manager at Life Time Athletic in Urbandale, Iowa, was awarded. 

 

In May, the Net Rushers Tennis Association in St. Louis, Missouri earned the honor.

 

In June, Jeff Putman and his team at Cooper Tennis Complex was named Youth Tennis Provider of the Month.

 

The July recipient of this award was Brad Lund, Director of Tennis Development for Britton Christian Church Tennis Academy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

Tracy Carlson of St. Charles, Missouri, was named August's honoree for her work as a tennis coach at Frances Howell High School. 

 

Talor Wain of Lincoln, Nebraska, was honored in September for his work at Woods Tennis Center

 

In October, Stash Lorenzi of Overland Park, Kansas was recognized for her work in the junior tennis space.

 

Tyler Cobb of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was named the Youth Tennis Provider of the Month in November for his work with Indian Springs. 

 

Our final Youth Tennis Provider of the Month in 2020 was Mike Saniuk of Omaha, Nebraska, who was recognized for his efforts with Miracle Hill Country Club.

 

Each Youth Tennis Provider of the Month will be awarded a commemorative certificate and a Net Generation t-shirt. USTA Missouri Valley appreciates all these providers do to shape the generation of the future and grow the game we all love.
