Power of Her Scholarship

We are opening our first-ever Power of Her Scholarship, designed to empower women coaches to continue learning and growing.

While 44% of USTA New England's seasonal coaches are women, only 25% of all certified teaching professionals nationwide are female. Let's change that together.

This scholarship supports women (18+) at any stage of their coaching journey, providing financial assistance for training, certification, and career advancement.

The scholarship is for $250 to use towards professional development. We are happy to award 10 scholarships at this time!

US Open Ticket Giveaway

Nominate your favorite coach and automatically enter them for a chance to win a loaded 2025 US Open package!

We'll kick off National Tennis Month on May 1st by randomly selecting one lucky coach to win a pair of courtside tickets to Arthur Ashe Stadium, a hotel in NYC and transportation to and from the US Open!

Mason Bultje Highlight

Originally from Minnesota and now based in Massachusetts, Mason Bultje joined the USTA New England Board of Directors in 2023 after previously serving on the USTA Northern Board. A lifelong player, coach and advocate, Mason has built his career around growing the game through nonprofit and community tennis organizations. He currently serves as Director of Partnerships & Programs at Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center and also coaches MIT Women’s Tennis. Read More
Sullivan To Be Honored
April 14, 2026

Paul Sullivan, a distinguished player, coach, innovator and lifelong ambassador for the game, has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Gardner Ward Chase Memorial Award for lifetime achievement. Sullivan, of Weston, MA, will be honored posthumously at the New England Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 14 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI. Read More
Bud Schultz Spotlight

William “Bud” Schultz is a former ATP pro ranked as high as No. 39 in the world. He worked as the longtime Director of Tennis at the historic Longwood Cricket Club and is the current owner and operator of the Cohasset Tennis Club.
