Friday, November 15th
10:00am-11:30am: Tournament Directors & JTT Coordinators Workshop - Invitation Only
11:30am-12:20pm: Introducing Youth Players to Team Competition at Longfellow Wayland
This will be an interactive session showcasing how team challenges and team tournaments are a terrific introduction to competition for Net Generation players in a low-pressure TEAM environment.
12:40-1:30pm: How to Run an Effective Practice at Longfellow Wayland
This session will be an interactive demonstration of how to run a dynamic and engaging practice for middle or high school players through adults over two courts.
2:00-2:30pm: Registration at Boston Marriott in Newton, MA
2:30-3:30pm: Tennis in the Parks: Utilizing Public Courts to Grow the Game with Scott Laasko
With 50% of tennis participants playing on public park courts, we as tennis providers must look to the parks to grow tennis participation. ADVERTISEMENT This session will highlight how we can partner with Park and Recreation Departments to offer tennis programming
3:45-4:45pm: Let Tennis Management Tools Do the Work for You with Heather Hawkes
This session will cover the USTA's plans for replacing TennisLink as we continue to improve the ways we can help your programs and facilities. We will share high level timelines and a sneak peek of the tennis management tools USTA has been working to develop.
5:00-6:15pm: Be a Champion for Diversity in Any Industry with Renee Tirado
From her time at the USTA National Office to Major League Baseball, Renee Tirado has been an integral part of transforming organizations into leaders in diversity and inclusion. Now as the Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Gucci, Renee will join us for an open, sit down conversation about how to overcome our unconscious biases and implement effective diversity and inclusion initiatives into your organization. Renee has a no holds barred policy so bring any and all questions for her!

Disney is the gold standard for the customer experience and Rafa has a wealth of knowledge from his time at Disney and at the USTA National Campus in Orlando. This session will teach us how to use those excellent customer service techniques in our role as tennis providers.
9:30-10:30am: Safeguarding your Facilities through Athlete Welfare with Lauren Tracy
As the national governing body for tennis, the USTA has been helping lead the way in youth sports with its Safe Play requirements to protect our players. Join the USTA's Lauren Tracy to learn best practices for keeping the kids in your clubs safe and how you can implement your own safeguarding program.
10:45-11:45am: Breakout Sessions
If you Build it, Will they Come? with the USTA New England Marketing Team
How to create successful marketing plans to get *new* adults into tennis. Learn about generational behaviors that should dictate your marketing efforts and get a special guide to social media marketing from Jonathan Zipper, Manager, Social Media Strategy & Analytics at USTA National.
A New Day for Junior Play: Changes to Junior Tournaments with Shawna Fors
Starting in 2021, USTA will be adopting a simplified nationwide tournament structure, which will create a standardized system and greater consistency across the country. This session will outline how the Net Generation Circuit is the key entry point to the junior pathway and how to navigate the changes being made to tournaments here in New England.
