NEW LONDON, CT - Connecticut tennis coach, Andre Danford, is living his best life. He is the Director of Junior Competition at Lyme Shores Racquet Club in East Lyme, CT, he frequently runs USTA events as a Tournament Director, and he coaches Tennis in the Parks in his hometown of New London, all while balancing his longtime passion for music through his successful cover band, Andre & Friends.

Danford has always had a love for music, and over the past 20+ years, he and his bandmates have taken their talents around New England and the Tri-state area playing countless festivals, clubs and private events with anywhere from a two to a seven-piece band.

With musical inspirations like Stevie Wonder and Carlos Santana, Danford's setlist ranges anywhere from the smooth styles of the '60s to modern day pop and rock.

As a tennis coach, Danford empowers his students to have a balanced lifestyle and not focus all their attention on tennis.

We recently caught up with the Music Ace, as he's often called, to learn more about his many talents.
