RPS ACADEMIES BECOMES AN OFFICIAL CAMP PARTNER OF USTA NEW ENGLAND
WESTBOROUGH, MA - The United States Tennis Association of New England is excited to announce its partnership with RPS Academies to become an “Official Camp Partner” of the section. As part of the partnership, RPS Academy Camps will provide one scholarship to a New England player for its youth overnight camp in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
This scholarship is open to the top 10 juniors in each age division by invitation who are in good standing and is for one spring break camp with boarding at no cost.
“New England has a rich tennis history, and the passion for the sport among youth continues to grow. As a result, RPS is excited to welcome young athletes who will have the opportunity to train on our world-class facilities, competing on both hard courts and clay courts alongside students from around the globe. Our goal is for them to make the most of this experience, finding motivation and improving their game,” said Andres Weisskopf, RPS Tennis Director.
Students at RPS Academies will follow a comprehensive daily program that integrates all aspects of high-performance tennis, including stroke production, tactical training, physical conditioning, mental resilience, and competitive play. Designed by internationally renowned tennis coach Gabe Jaramillo, this holistic approach ensures that athletes develop the skills, mindset, and physical capabilities needed to excel in competition.
“RPS Academies are known for their strong athletic development program across tennis and many other sports. This collaboration will offer our junior players exposure to the academy, including offering a scholarship for one player to experience RPS peak performance training in a beautiful new setting,” said Alex Wesley, Director of Marketing for USTA New England.
In addition to its weeklong camps, RPS Academies offers a comprehensive full-time academy program, both boarding and non-boarding, that emphasizes Athletics, Intellectual Growth, and Academic Excellence. The academy also features a specialized program for athletes aged 12 and under, tailored to foster their development in both sport and education.
