2019 ADULT 18 & OVER 2.5, 3.5 & 4.5 SECTIONAL RESULTS

Five teams will represent Texas at the USTA National Championships after winning their division at the Adult 18 & Over 2.5, 3.5 & 4.5 Sectional Championship on Sunday, August 4.
Ladies 2.5 Champions – Austin
Austin topped the six team Ladies 2.5 division, going 5-0 in team play and beating out NETX for the title. The team will go to the 18 & Over 2.5 Women's National Championships at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas from October 11-13.
"TopSpinners 2.5 are captained by Ellen Dick, co-captained by Nikki Mullins and play out of UT Whitaker in Austin. The team roster includes: Beth Gerlach, Kelley Nitka, Kate Bludworth, Cathy Guthrie, Kathy Panton, Kristy Kepple, Julia Taylor, Heather Osborne, Kandace Fierro and Clee Upchurch.
Men’s 3.5 Champions – Houston
Houston went 4-0 in flight play before defeating Wild Austin 3-2 in the semifinals and Amarillo 3-2 in the finals to win the Men's 3.5 division. The team will go to the 18 & Over 3.5 National Championships at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona from October 4-6.
"HFTC - Hurricanes" are captained by Jason Freeman and co-captained by Victor Tan. The team plays out of Homer Ford Tennis Center in Houston and features 21 members: Trey Greco, Pin Chiu, Thomas Rapson, Ivan Muller-Sierra, Brad Beinart, Jason Turpen, Greg Leiker, Greg Wiley, David Moore, Gabriel Colmenares, Jeff Hechler, Milton Brown, Edsel Esquivel, Hugo Palencia, Luc Thomas, John Lu, Quinn Davis, Richard Patton, Steven Briggs, Tin Dang and Ramis da Costa.
Ladies 3.5 Champions – Wild Dallas
Wild Dallas went 4-0 in flight play before taking down San Antonio 3-2 in the semifinals and winning 3-2 in the finals to Wild NOHO to earn the Ladies 3.5 division crown.. The team will go to the 18 & Over 3.5 National Championships at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona from October 4-6.
"SpringPark/Young W3.5" are captained by Jennifer Young and play out of Springpark Sports Club in Garland. The team consists of players: Michelle Hefner, Aundi Henderson, Michelle Coates, Teri Wilson, Jenna Dinh, Danielle White, Ana O'Reilly, Cheryl Bradley, Sheri Colaluca, Susan Rubin, Melissa Sipes, Shannon Caruthers, Heather Williams, Michelle Moore, Wendy Woodward, Louise Kwong Hing and Maria Howard.
Men’s 4.5 Champions – Austin
Austin posted an undefeated record of 4-0 in flight play before downing Dallas 4-1 in the finals to earn the Men's 4.5 division championship. The team will be headed to the 18 & Over 4.5 National Championships at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona from October 18-20.
"Southside Bangers M4.5" are captained by Scott Berens and co-captained by Travis Sparks. The team plays out of South Austin Tennis Center and features members: Myles Gardner, Scott Sevin, Will Boucek, John Hernandez, David Bateman, Anton Freundt, Jeremiah Merkel, Billy Wilkinson, Bradley Harris, Takashi Koga, Jeff McMillioan, Ryan Goldstein, Simon Boyce, Laurent Sanglier, Paul Gonzales and Patrick Seidensticker.
Ladies 4.5 Champions – Houston
Houston won the Ladies 4.5 division title by going 3-0 in flight play, then beating Dallas 4-1 in the finals to earn a spot at the 18 & Over 4.5 National Championships at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona from October 18-20.
"LLTC - Vo" are captained by Tawn Vo and play out of Lee Le Clear Tennis Center in Houston. The team includes a roster of 16 players: Keri Bassett, Sheri Lingnau, Audrey Du, Mari Van Der Walt, Jana Vanderwalt, Erica Atkinson, XinhSylvia Le, Donna Miller, Thao Westerhaver, Cristina Petrosini, Natacha Kluft, Julia Montiel, Heather Mee, Athena Cajas and Nicole Barren.
