2021 Tri-Level Sectional Results
Teams from Austin, Houston, NOHO and Lubbock all earned titles at the 2021 Tri-Level Sectionals from January 29-31 in Austin.
Women's 4.0 Champions - Austin
Men's 4.0 Champions - Lubbock
Lubbock was the fourth and final team into the semifinals, but made the most of it by winning the Men's 4.0 crown. The team went 2-1 in flight play before defeating NOHO 2-1 in the semis and Dallas 2-1 in the finals.
Team "Guetersloh" play out of the Burgess-Rushing Tennis Center. The team features eight players: Kevin Graf, Courtney Gage, Javier Benavides, Dain Guetersloh, Johnny Fowler, Anthony Frazier, Aidan Alvarez and Azhar Ahmed.
Women's 4.5 Champions - Houston
Houston put in a dominant performance in the Women's 4.5 division, winning all of their matches on the way to the title. The team went 3-0 in flight play before sweeping Fort Worth 3-0 in the finals.
"Cinco Ranch North - Trifecta" are captained by Jeri Richard-Brantley, co-captained by Angeli Zhang and play out of the Cinco Ranch North Lake Village in Katy. Their team roster includes: Akemi Ikei, MaryAnn Smith, Maria Garcia-Mireles, Donna Kerig, Emma Nguyen, Anjali Iyer, Kathy M. Xia, Mary Volf, Therese O'Connor, Chiara Combs, Chelsea Grear, Leslie Petros and Angeli Zhang.
