For the last 20 years, the Northeast Texas Coalition Tennis Association has been serving up tennis opportunities to the greater Tyler area. But the self-proclaimed "feather in their cap" is being voted the Best of Texas Tennis, and ultimately, receiving this award. They run eight USTA Leagues, participate in the USTA Texas CTA Interns program and regional workshops, sponsor charity and professional tournaments, and host various youth tennis programs to "connect the dots" along the pathway.

With a slate of motivated, experienced, involved, and dedicated officers, NETX is excited to expand their grassroots programs and local business partners in 2023. In their own words:

"[This award] gives us the confidence and encouragement to keep doing what we're doing... [It] gives us credibility with our participants, partners, businesses, clubs, and sponsors... NETX is poised to leverage [these awards] to build a foundation of programs, making tennis more accessible to our diverse communities now and into the future."

The Dallas Tennis Association has been “making a racket” across the greater Dallas area since the 1950s. Through collaboration, partnerships, and outreach, the DTA has been stitching the fabric between their players, programs, coaches, and facilities to create a tight-knit tennis community that reaches some 13,000 tennis enthusiasts today.

Their staff, volunteers, and leadership have an undeniable passion and commitment to the delivery of tennis. In their own words:

“We are innovative when we need to be; we pull together and help each other in times of need; and in the end, we deliver a best-in-class product.”

It’s clear that the DTA will always strive to exceed the expectations of the community they serve.  Whether young or old, novice or advanced, social or competitive, the DTA will continue to inspire new generations of players and propel tennis to new levels of popularity throughout their community.
