2024 USTA Texas Women's Senior Spirit of Tennis Award



Congratulations to the 2024 USTA Texas Women’s Senior Spirit of Tennis Award recipient, Bo Ward.

 

Established in 1992, this award honors a woman who, in addition to her participation in USTA tennis tournaments and leagues, exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship, enthusiasm, conditioning, and resourcefulness. With a cooperative spirit, the recipient honors and betters the lives of seniors on and off the court.

"I was excited that I was nominated for the Senior Spirit Award, and it was a total surprise to receive it!"


Presented at the 2024 Awards Luncheon at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel in Irving on Saturday, Feb. 10th:

There’s no substitute for enthusiasm and good sportsmanship, and Bo Ward shows more than enough of both on and off the court. Known throughout the Brazos Valley for her love of tennis, Bo goes above and beyond to make the court a fun and inviting place for everyone.

 

As a League captain, she’s always making connections and new friends along the way. A strong supporter of nonprofits like Habitat For Humanity, Bo is a compassionate leader within and beyond her tennis community.
