USTA Texas is launching a new grant initiative designed to supercharge the already booming tennis ecosystem across the Lone Star State. Launched in Mid-October and open through Fall 2023, the USTA Texas Grow the Game (GTG) Grants are designed to help boost new and existing tennis programs in communities throughout Texas.

USTA Texas Executive Director Fred Viancos said the new grant focuses support directly to the places where tennis growth is taking place.

“Tennis in Texas has grown tremendously in the past few years, and we want to ensure that we’re supporting and sustaining that growth,” he said. “These grants will make a difference for local providers and organizations and help them develop more robust, welcoming tennis communities.”

With grants ranging from $500 to $2,500, the limited-time opportunity is open to all Texas parks, schools, after-school programs, tennis facilities and clubs, service organizations, and CTAs. The funds will help directly and immediately grow the sport of tennis locally across Texas..
