Best of Texas Tennis Returns for 2025

October 15, 2025

AUSTIN  – Back for its fourth year, people from across the Texas tennis community will have the opportunity to nominate and vote for their favorites across eight categories. Last year over 90,000 votes were cast in USTA Texas’s people choice recognition event which featured over 250 nominees.

This year’s program is featuring a handful of changes to streamline the voting process and to continue to build excitement and participation across Texas tennis. The categories each feature groups or teams ranging from Favorite USTA League (a new category for local area USTA Leagues) to historically popular and competitive categories like Favorite High School Team.

USTA Texas Marketing and Communications Manager, Kyle Wrather, said the tweaks to Best of Texas Tennis reflect USTA Texas commitment to continue innovating and listening to the Texas tennis public.

This year’s nominations will open on Monday, October 6 and continue until Sunday, October 12. Voting will open on Wednesday, October 15 and close Tuesday, October 21. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 24.
