IN MEMORIAM HALL OF FAMER JOANN PADGETT
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and Hall of Fame member, JoAnn Padgett who passed away on October 18, 2019.

JoAnn Padgett began her service to the game in the 1970s as a volunteer for the Houston Tennis Association in order to help and watch her husband play his matches. She went on to serve as President (1976-1977) and Executive Director (1976-1980). Padgett served as a Tennis Promoter with George Liddy & Associates for the Virginia Slims (1980-1987), an Activities Director for the University Club in Houston (1987-1989) and the Director of Recreational Tennis for the Texas Tennis Association (1989-97).
