THE FUTURE OF TEXAS TENNIS

March 15, 2019

Cedar Park, Texas - In what was called a “historic” vote, the Cedar Park City Council voted unanimously to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with USTA Texas and Indigo Ridge Development Project in which all parties intend to bring the USTA Texas headquarters and facilities to the development.

USTA Texas headquarters will serve as the anchor for this projected $1.5 billion development. As a center for imagination and innovation, the facility is anticipated to feature approximately 40 hard courts, 6-8 indoor courts and a stadium court along with world class amenities for training, development and competition.

Tom Hunt, President of USTA Texas, says, “USTA Texas is excited to be part of this development and looks forward to working with Indigo Ridge Development Partners to design and develop the facility.”

Last night’s agreement is simply an outline of the current understanding between the involved parties.  For more information, visit www.experienceindigoridge.com.
