Julius Zinn Seniors ' Service Award

2026 Ganador del Premio Zinn, Fernando Velasco

Establecido en 1997, este premio honra a un miembro senior de la comunidad de tenis de Texas que participa en juegos, actividades o trabajo organizativo de tenis senior. Se otorga sobre la base de la voluntad, cooperación y participación del destinatario para el mejoramiento y promoción del tenis senior. 

  • No puede ser nominado por un miembro de la familia.
  • Debe residir dentro de los límites de la USTA Texas.
  • Debe tener una membresía individual actual de la USTA.
  • Debe estar involucrado activamente o participar en juegos, actividades o trabajos organizativos de tenis para personas mayores.
  • Demuestra juego limpio, buen espíritu deportivo, carácter honrado y voluntad de promover el tenis entre la comunidad de personas mayores.

  • Período de nominación: noviembre 1-21, 2025
  • Periodo de notificación: diciembre 15-19, 2025
  • Almuerzo de premiación: 7 de febrero de 2026

Las nominaciones se abren anualmente el primer día de noviembre y cierran el viernes antes del Día de Acción de Gracias. Los comités de selección revisan las nominaciones y seleccionan a los ganadores durante las dos primeras semanas de diciembre. Se notifica a los participantes sobre el estado de su nominación y se contacta a los ganadores la tercera semana de diciembre. Los ganadores son honrados y los premios se entregan en el almuerzo de premios de la USTA Texas el segundo sábado de febrero.
